SF - West Commander with All Ranks Observes ‘Sil’

Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage, Commander, Security Forces - West (SF-West) was one among over 1300 devotees who observed ‘Sil’ at Panagoda Sri Bodhirajaramaya on Esala Full Moon Poya day (27).

The ‘Sil’ programme, organized by the Sri Lanka Army Buddhist Association on the instructions of its President Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage was attended by civil devotees as well.

All meals and refreshments to the attendees were served by troops of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps and Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment during the programme.

A ‘Bodhi Pooja’ Pinkama towards the end of the day’s arrangement brought the day’s programme to an end.
