SPECIAL LECTURE ON INCOME TAX CONDUCTED DURING WEDNESDAY TRAINING PROGRAMME

Under the guidance of the Commander Security Forces (West), Major General U K D D P Udugama RWP RSP USP ndc psc, a special lecture on “Income Tax” was held on 25 June 2025, in line with the Wednesday training programme. The session was conducted by Ms Wasanthi Perera, Commissioner of the Inland Revenue Department, and Mr A A B Jayaratna, Senior Deputy Commissioner. The lecture primarily focused on educating about income tax and wealth declarations.

Additionally, Mr S Sivanesan and Mr K M R Kumara, Assistant Commissioners of the Inland Revenue Department, also participated. A total of 14 officers serving under SFHQ (West) and 225 other ranks took part in this training programme, enhancing their awareness and understanding of tax-related responsibilities.
