The annual Esala Maha Perahera of Kotahena Sri Paramananda Ancient Temple was held on a splendid way with the support of the Army at the sacred Kotahena Sri Paramananda Temple on 15 September 2023.
The Commander Security Forces (West) Major General U D Wijesekera RWP RSP USP rcds psc participated in this sacred event to represent the Commander of the Army. Since multi religious people live in the area, all nationalities had participated for the event.
Moreover, as per the instructions of the Commander, Security Forces Headquarters (West), 70 troops of the Sri Lanka Army have contributed their utmost assistance for successfully conduct of the event.
