Responding positively to the request of the National Institute of Language Education and Training (NILET) of the Ministry of National Coexistence, Dialogue and Official Languages, the Security Force Headquarters - West (SFHQ-West) supported the conduct of a blood donation campaign at its training centre in Makumbura, Pannipitiya on Friday.
Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage, Commander, Security Forces - West (SF-West) assisted the project, ‘Jathiya Kumak Wuwath-Rudhiraya Eka We’ by facilitating more than 25 troops serving the SFHQ-West to attend the programme.
Troops of the 142 Brigade, SLA, SLLI and SLSC of the SFHQ-West took part in the programme.
