A NEWLY CONSTRUCTED ENTRANCE GATE UNVEILS AT HABARAKADA

With the intention of enhancing the security and adding a new look to the Habarakada Entrance of the Army Cantonment - Panagoda, a new personnel entrance gate was declared open at the auspicious time in order to enter and exit to the premises by the Commander Security Force (West) Major General D G S Senarathyapa RWP RSP ndu in association with the Chief Signal Officer and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Signal Corps Major General P A J Peiris ndu upon the invitation of the overlooking Second in Command of the 1st Engineer Services Regiment Major W C Perera on 05 August 2021.

Subsequently, The Commander SF (West) along with the other senior officers inspected the facilities available at the new entrance gate and conveyed his gratitude to the troops of 1st Engineer Services Regiment who rendered their assistance to build this up to the expected standard.

Afterwards, a brief commemoration was held adhering to the health guidelines and the Commander took time off to speak few words with the Non Commissioned Officers during the all rank tea party.

Several senior officers of Security Force (West) including BAQ, Col GS, Col Coord, Col AQ and the other senior officers participated at the event.
