Creation of Vesak Lantern and Hosting of Belimal Dansela in Celebration of Vesak Poya

In line with the Army Headquarters Vesak Zone celebrations, troops of the 144 Infantry Brigade, under the guidance of the Commander 144 Infantry Brigade, B Y C Fenando RWP USP , constructed an intricately designed Vesak lantern.

Additionally, a Belimal Dansala was organized and conducted in front of the 144 Infantry Brigade Headquarters at 1800 hours on 12 May 2025, drawing the participation of both military personnel and the general public in the spirit of Vesak.
