Troops of the 8 Sri Lanka Singha Regiment (8 SLSR), under the guidance of the 57 Infantry Division and 611 Infantry Brigade, successfully cleared the Palampitiya - Dolosbage road, which had been obstructed by landslides and fallen trees. Their prompt and dedicated effort ensured the restoration of safe passage for civilians, enabling essential transport and services to resume without further delay. This timely support significantly eased the hardships faced by the affected community.
