Major General K A Pushpakumara RWP RSP USP ndc psc assumed duties as the Deputy General Officer Commanding (DyGOC) of the 14 Infantry Division amidst religious blessings and military formalities at the Headquarters of the 14 Infantry Division, Vauxhall Street, Colombo 02 on 10 June 2026.
Upon his arrival, the newly appointed Deputy General Officer Commanding was warmly welcomed by the Staff Officers of the Division Headquarters. Thereafter, he officially assumed duties by placing his signature on an official document amidst the chanting of Seth Pirith, in the presence of senior officers, in keeping with military traditions and customs.
The occasion marked the commencement of his new appointment and responsibilities within the 14 Infantry Division.
