Troops of the 16 (v) Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment of the 571 Brigade under the Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi extended their assistance to clean the Janatha Dewasaba Church premises at Anandapuram on 19 February 2018 from 0800 hrs to 1230 hrs.
The ‘Shramadana’ programme was organized as the concept of Commander, Security Force – Kilinochchi, Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana and under the supervision of Colonel Rohitha Aluvihare - Commander 571 Brigade.
Around 20 troops from 16 (v) Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment voluntarily took part in the ‘Shramadana’ campaign and cleaned the church premises and the buildings.
