With the guidance of General Officer Commanding, 57 Division, Major General Vijitha Ravipriya and under the close supervision of Commander 571 Brigade, Najeeve Edirisinghe, Troops of 16 Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment conducted a Shramadana campaign at Panankaddi GTM School on 8 July 2018.
Over 35 troops participated for this Shramadana campaign together with residents of the area. Troops renovated the Barbed wire perimeter fence of Panankaddi GTM School. The member of the Youth Outreach Council, Canada has supplied equipment worth of Rs. 100000 to renovate the fence.
