To meet with the concept, outspoken by Major General DGS Senerath Yapa RWP RSP ndu, the General Officer Commanding - 57 Division, an awareness programme on prevention actions of Covid 19 outbreak and spreading of Dengue was conducted at Headquarters 571 Brigade on 19 June 2020. Brigadier DKSK Dolage USP psc Commander 571 Brigade facilitated the event. Regional Director of Health Services - Kilinochchi, the Regional Doctor of Epidemiology, Medical Officers of health - Karachchi and Kandawali Divisional Secretariats conducted the awareness programme. In that, the prevention measures of Covid 19 and Dengue, the existing and future threats of such situation to the area of responsibility were discussed deeply. Further, they elaborated on the expected assistance from 57 Division in such situations.
The General Officer Commanding 57 Division, Commander 571 Brigade, Staff Officers of Headquarter 57 Division, Civil Affairs Officers, and Commanding Officers and Second in Commands of under command Battalions participated in the programme.
