63 POST GRADUATE DEGREE/DIPLOMA FOLLOWERS VISITED SECURITY FORCES KILINOCHCHI
63 Post Graduate Degree/Diploma followers from University of Sri Jayawardhanapura and 03 members from Academic staff visited Security Forces - Kilinochchi area on 05 November 2016.\r\n\r\nThe group of post graduates Degree/Diploma followers warmly welcomed by Major General K A D A Karunasekara RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc on arrival at Security Forces Headquarters – Kilinochchi. Major K A P U Kodippili RSP General Staff Officer II (Coordination) conducted a presentation on “Role and Responsibilities of Security Forces Headquarters – Kilinochchi and handling of post conflict scenario”.\r\n\r\nDuring the visit, the post graduates visited the Harmony Centre and Commander – 571 Brigade conducted a presentation with regard to function of the Harmony Centre and its activities. Then they visited Destroyed Water Tank, District Secretariat, War Monument in Kilinochchi town and War Hero Gamini Kularathna monument in Elephant Pass. This entire visit coordinated and conducted by Lt Col M J R S Medagoda RSP USP psc IG Commanding Officer – 8 SLA.
