Troops of the 651 Brigade under 65 Division of the Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi recently provided their assistance to renovate water canal at Kariyalanagapadduvan.
Farmers Development Association at Kariyalanagapadduvan has requested military assistance to clean above canal. 01 x 25 troops of 11th Battalion Gajaba Regiment and 15 civilians conducted Shramadana campaign and make it serviceable for farmers on 14 Aug 2018, under the guidance of General Officer Commanding - 65 Division, Major General Kumara Peiris and with the close supervision of Commander, 651 Brigade, Brigadier Ranjith Abeysinghe.
