To mark the 69th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army, 66 Infantry Division has organized a series of events. On 10th October 2018 the Army day, the Army flag was hoisted by the General Officer Commanding in front of the Division Headquarters and followed by reading of the Army Commanders Message, Planting of saplings and arranged all ranks tea. During the evening a Bodhi Pooja programme was organized to bless the flags of Division, Bdes and under Comd Battalions at the Pooneryn temple.
Brigadier Deepthi Jayathilake, the General Officer Commanding of 66 Infantry Division, 661 and 662 Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers of under command Battalions,Staff Officers of the Division and a large number of military personnel took part of of this events.
