661 INFANTRY BRIGADE ORGANIZED A COUNSELLING WORKSHOP FOR GCE (O/L) STUDENTS OF THE POONERYN AREA

Subsequent to the direction given by the General Officer Commanding 66 Division Major General Jagath Kodituwakku RWP RSP ndu and with the supervision of Commander 661 Brigade Brigadier Shantha Hewage RWP RSP USP psc along with 5 (V) Mechanized Infantry Regiment conducted a counselling workshop for 44 students who envisioned to sit for G.C.E (O/L) examination in year 2020. This workshop was held on 04 September 2020 at Vignashwara Tamil Mix School Nalankatti Pooneryn. Mr. Makeepan – former ONUR (Office for national unity and reconciliation) coordinator of the Killinochchi District, Mrs. Gilberd Vanceline - Training of Trainers in Diploma, Mrs. S Shanthakala -Diploma in Counselling and Miss. R kethuja–Bachelors of Arts (HONS) have conducted the program as resource personnel.

The aim of this workshop is to prepare students for the incoming G.C.E (O/L) exam with immaculate mind. At the conclusion of the workshop, the principle, all teachers along with the students extended their gratitude to the SL Army.
