66 Infantry Division Organized Multi-religious Programmes in Poonaryn to bless Army flags on account of the forthcoming 69th Army anniversary.
The ceremonies at first got underway at St Mari’s Church - Poonaryn at 0930 hours on 09 October 2018 and followed by similar invocations at Paranthan Porik Kadawei Amman Kovil for Hindu blessings at 1200 hours in the afternoon.
Brigadier Deepthi Jayathilake General Officer Commanding - 66 Infantry Division, Brigade Commanders of 661 and 662 Brigades, Commanding Officers of under Command Battalions and a large number of military personnel took part in these ceremonies.
