73rd NATIONAL INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS IN SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS KILINOCHCHI

Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi celebrated the 73rd National Independence Day with the participation of all officers and other ranks in SFHQ (KLN). On behalf of the Kilinochchi Commander, the national flag was hoisted by the Brigadier Admin and Quartering of Security Force Headquarters (Kilinochchi), Brigadier Deepal Hathurusinghe. Then, two-minute silence was observed to remind all the patriots and war heroes who scarified their lives for the noble cause of defending the freedom, unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Mother Sri Lanka.

Further, Independence Day massage of Commander of the Army was delivered by the Staff Officer 1 (Admin) of Security Force Headquarters (Kilinochchi). Finally, all troops attended to witness the Independence Day ceremony live telecasting at the auditorium. In the Meantime, Tree planting programme was organized to commemorate the 73rd National Independence Day.
