8 SRI LANKA SINHA REGIMENT COMPLETED THEIR BATTALION TRAINING COURSE
The Aim of the Battalion Training is to upgrade the efficiency and effectiveness of Infantry Battalions in order to deal with present and future challenges, with this intention 8 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment successfully completed their Battalion Training Course at Battalion Training School Ampakamam and it was terminated on 15 June 2016. \r\n\r\nBrigadier W A V A Sudasinghe USP ndc IG – GOC 57 Div graced the occasion as the chief Guest and he stressed on the importance of Battalion Training is to review training methodologies in order to preserve the knowledge gained, past experience and also ready for future challengers during his closing address.\r\n
