9th VIJAYABAHU INFANTRY REGIMENT COMPLETED THEIR BATTALION TRAINING
The aim of the battalion training is to upgrade the efficiency and effectiveness of Infantry Battalions in order to deal with the present and future challenges. With this intention 9th Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment successfully completed their Battalion Training Course at Battalion Training School - Ampakamam which was held from 18 January 2016 to 13 March 2016.\r\n\r\nDuring the training, Major General K A D A Karunasekara RSP VSV USP ndu psc , Commander - Security Forces (KLN) met troops who were undergoing training and he emphasized the importance of battalion training that necessitate replenish the past experience and to be a sophisticated through gaining knowledge which supportive to ready for future challenges during his visit to Battalion Training School - Ampakamam on 09 February 2016.
