THE ANNUAL CHRISTMAS CAROL AT NELUM PIYASA - KILINOCHCHI
With the seasonal compliments as well as with objective of promoting religious reconciliation among all communities in the Kilinochchi area, Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi together with 57 Division organized a Christmas Carol in Nelum Piyasa auditorium on Friday (23) under the direction of Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi, Major General Amal Karunasekara RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc. \r\n\r\nThe Chief Guest, Most Rev. Fr. Dr. Justin Bernad Gnanaprakash, Bishop of Jaffna attended the occasion. The event conducted in both Tamil and English languages. \r\n\r\nReading the Gospel, Delivering of Christmas Message, Singing Christmas Carols and Dance were the highlights of the event. The Christmas message delivered by Most Rev. Fr. Dr. Justin Bernad Gnanaprakash. Christmas Carols and dances presented by teams of St. Theresa Church - Kilinochchi, Baptish Church - Barathipuram, Methothish Church - Paranthan, St. Paul Church, Karunanilayam Church and Secutiy Forces - Kilinochchi.\r\n\r\nDuring the event distributed gift packs for 100 kids and teams of Christmas Carols and dinner was arranged for all participants.\r\n\r\nGeneral Officer Commanding 57 and 65 Division, religious leaders in Kilinochchi area, Senior Officers from Air Force and Police, administrative officers and large no of civilians attended for the event.
