Expanding its community-oriented projects, 57 Division under the Security Forces Headquarters - Kilinochchi has taken steps to construct a new house for a needy family in the area, with the sponsorship provided by ‘Sri Siddhartha Foundation’ in the South.
The cornerstone for construction of the new house was laid on 15 July 2018 at the auspicious time with the participation of members of the chosen family and a few Senior Officers of the 57 Division.
The project, launched with the instructions of Major General Vijitha Ravipriya, General Officer Commanding, 57 Division and is to be completed within few weeks by 9 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment troops with the sponsorship of the donors.
