According to the information and with the direction of Brigade Commander - 572 Brigade, The Commanding Officer and troops from 6 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment were immediately rushed to the said location and rescued 70 years old woman named M. Rasamma and her grand-daughter 8 years old S Karthika. As the immediate reaction of military troops, the fallen tree has removed and house has repaired temporarily within a couple of hours, without any personal damaged.
