AUSTRALIAN DELEGATION VISIT TO SECURITY FORCES HEADQUARTERS KILINOCHCHI
The Australian Deputy High Commissioner to Sri Lanka and Maldives, Mr. Tim Huggins together with Defence Advisor to Sri Lanka and Bangladesh Captain Jason Sears, Counsellor and Superintendent of Australian Border Force Mr. Tom Brennan and the Office Manager of Department of Defence Ms. Ruvindri Jayawickrama and The Office Manager of Australian Border Force Ms. Krishanthi Rathnayake visited the Security Forces Headquarters on 23 Aug 2016.\r\n\r\nGeneral Officer Commanding of 66 Division Brigadier D C Keppetiwalana RSP psc, Brigadier General Staff of Security Forces Headquarters - Kilinochchi Brigadier R M P J Ratnayake and Brigadier Admin and Quartering of Security Forces Headquarters - Kilinochchi Colonel C K Handunmulla warmly welcomed the Australian Delegation on behalf of the commander Security Force - Kilinochchi. During the cordial meeting, General Officer Commanding of 66 Division conducted the presentation on Role of military in post conflict scenario in Kilinochchi with pararell to the 5R process. \r\n\r\n Subsequently, the Australian Delegation visited the Harmony Centre and they were welcomed by General Officer Commanding of 57 Division Brigadier W A V A Sudasingha USP IG and 571 Brigade Commander Colonel K T A D S Kolambathntri RWP RSP USP Psc IG. Further, Delegation was educated on the social welfare programmes which are carried out by the Harmony centre. Finally, Mr. Tim Huggins and Captain Jason Sears placed their signatures on the visitors\' book to mark their visit to Security Forces Headquarters - Kilinochchi.\r\n
