According to the concept of Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana, Tamil Language Proficiency courses were conducted at every under command battalions in Kilinochchi.
The objective of these courses were to develop the Tamil Language skills of the military members in the Security Forces Kilinochchi for the provision of an efficient service without any language barrier. This is the concluded fourth course of year 2017 and 750 Army personnel were participated for this course.
Throughout the past 09 months 3103 of military personnel educated at these series of courses. During the certificate-awarding ceremony invitee guests gave away proficiency certificates to the first ten places. Certificate awarding ceremony was held at Nelumpiyasa Auditorium on 28 February 2018 as a glorious ceremony.
Commander Security Force Kilinochchi graced the certificate awarding ceremony as guest of honour. District Additional Secretary - Kilinochchi, S. Sathyaseelan, Deputy Inspector General Mahesh Walikanna, Commander, Forward Maintenance Area, Brigadier General Staff - Security Forces Headquarters Kilinochchi, Brigadier Admin Quarter - Security Forces Headquarters Kilinochchi, , Commanders of under Command brigades, Commanding Officers, Zonal Education Directors and Hindu and Islam priests in the area also graced the occasion.
