Troops under Secuirty Forces - Kilinochchi organized a function was organized to hand over a stock of furniture worth over to Waddakachchi GTMS School in Kilinochchi. The donation were included with 15 student chairs and 15 desks worth of Rs.45000.00 which were made by military personnel.\r\n\r\nWaddakachchi GTMS Schools is located in very rural area in Kilinochchi District and students are educating in this school with lacking of some needy furniture for their studies and students have been putting up with pieces that were broken, too small and even dangerous. After realized these problems and with the request of Principal, Major Ajith Senarathne, Commanding Officer of 6 Sri Lanka National Guard and his under command troops raise their hand to fulfill for said school furniture requirement with the direction of 57 Division and 573 Brigade.\r\n\r\nWith the supervision of Commanding Officer, troops were found local assets and paid to make furniture within short of period and hand over to the students to match their can to attitude. Officers and Other Ranks of 6 Sri Lanka National Guard, Principal, teachers and students were attended for this simple ceremony\r\n.\r\nDuring the ceremony, the principal on behalf of the teachers and the children of the school extended his gratitude to the Commander and all personnel of the 6 Sri Lanka National Guard for given such a valuable donation for the said school.
