CONDUCTING SERIES OF AWARENESS PROGRAMME AGAINST NARCOTIC AND ALCOHOLIC CONSUMPTION
According to the concept of H.E. President \"Drug Free Nation\" and coincide with international day against addiction for cigarette, drug abuse and illicit trafficking on 26 Jun 16, a series of awareness programme against narcotic and alcoholic substances consumption was conducted from 08 Jun 16 to 22 Jun 16. \r\n\r\nAs per the guidance of the Commander Security Force (Kilinochchi) Major General K A D A Karunasekara RSP VSV USP ndu psc, Chief Coordinator Civil Affairs Lieutenant Colonel M T K R Silva conducted the above series of awareness programme as a professional counselor. In these lecture series, empathized the side effects on health of consuming drugs and their effectiveness on the family life of soldiers.\r\n\r\nMany Officers and one thousand three hundred and twenty five Other Ranks who serve under Security Forces (Kilinochchi) area of responsibility, participated for above awareness programme.
