A free Medical Campaign was organized by the troops of 663 Brigade and 2 Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard on 16 October 2016 at KIRANCHI Grama Seva division in POONARYN, under guidance and the supervision of Brigadier Duminda Keppetiwalana, General Officer Commanding – 66 Division.\r\n\r\nThe Campaign was intended to provide medical, dental and its treatment facilities to the civilians in order to upgrade the health care status of the public in general area POONARYN. Community leaders and civilians who attended the event have expressed their sincere appreciation to the military on this social assistance by helping to the nation health development process with the view to achieve primary health care facilities for poor civilians.\r\n\r\nFor this event, approximately 580 civilians were attended and they take care of by medical and dental professionals and supporting staff members from the RDHS – KILINOCHCHI, focusing to examined of vision and hearing problems, dental and dental hygiene with other imperative health issues.\r\n
