GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF 66 INFANTRY DIVISION CUSTOMARY VISITED 662 INFANTRY BRIGADE AND UNDER COMMAND BATTALIONS

Major General Ajith Dissanayake customary visited 662 Infantry Brigade and under command battalions of 20 SLLI, 20(V) VIR after assuming duties as the General Officer Commanding of 66 Infantry Division on 01 February 2021.

The GOC was warmly welcomed by the Commander 662 Brigade Colonel Chaminda Liyanage, on arrival at the Brigade Headquarters after a ceremonial guard turnout by the troops of 20 SLLI. Subsequently, the Brigade Commander and respective COs comprehensively briefed the GOC about deployment, roles, tasks and routine operations in the AOR.

After the troop address, GOC planted a sapling to symbolize the visit at the 663 Brigade premises and left for the field visit to the under command battalions.
