HEADQUARTER 65 DIVISION BIDS FAREWELL TO OUTGOING GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING

The outgoing General Officer Commanding of 65 Division Major General DMHD Bandara RWP RSP USP was honoured on Monday, 07 September 2020 at Headquarter 65 Division premises in Thunukkai during a formal farewell ceremony.

Troops of the 19th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry presented a Guard Turn out and a Guard of Honour upon his arrival at the Headquarter premises after he was extended a warm welcome by Senior Officers. The outgoing General Officer Commanding of 65 Division, Major General Hemantha Bandara RWP RSP USP addressed the troops gathered, and thanked to the troops all ranks for the generous assistance and support, extended to him during his tenure. The day's simple programme culminated with an arrangement of all rank tea.

Senior Officers, Officers serving at Headquarter 65 Division, Brigade Commanders and Commanding Officers serving under Headquarter - 65 Division and other Ranks were present to witness the farewell ceremony.
