As per the direction specified by the Commander Security Forces (Kilinochchi), Security Forces Headquarter (Kilinochchi) has organized IFTAR festivity on 04 Jul 2016 at Harmony Centre in Kilinochchi. Iftar is the meal which is eaten after sunset during the fasting, which occurs the month of Ramadan as a Muslim traditions. \r\n\r\nAll the participants were dish up with delicious foodstuff prepared according to Islamic rituals and a Muslim religious leader highlighted the importance of the event and they briefly explained about Iftar to educate the gathering.\r\n\r\nCommander Security Forces (Kilinochchi) Major General K A D A Karunasekara RSP VSV USP ndu psc graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Brigadier H D W Kariyawasam USP - Commander Forward Maintenance Area (Kilinochchi ),Brigadier C D weerasooriya RSP - Comd 663 Bde, Colonel M A Izadeen RSP - Brigade Commander 572 Brigade, Colonel M P J S K Patabendige - Brigade Commander 652 Brigade also participated the said event. Many Government employees, priests and approximately 100 personnel attended for this juncture.
