On the concept and direction of Major General K A D A Karunasekara RSP VSV USP Commander - Security Forces Kilinochchi, Defence Training for Trainee Customs Guards commenced at Battalion Training School – Ampakamam on 19 June 2016 with the participation of 10 Female Guards and 91 Male Guards from Sri Lanka Customs.\r\n\r\nThe training curriculum included leadership, motivation, physical training, collective activities, self defence training, social etiquettes etc. Brigadier W A V A Sudasinghe USP ndc IG General Officer Commanding - 57 Division conducted the opening address on the day. Mr. A Senanayake - Additional Director of Human Resources, Mrs. Loshini Peries – Director of Human Resources Development Directorate from Sri Lanka Customs and Senior Military Officers were participated this event.
