58 Officer Cadets from Intake 85 & 86 of Sri Lanka Military Academy visited to Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi on 8- 9 August 2018 as a part of their educational tour.
On the arrival to the Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi, Officer Cadets were welcomed by Colonel Nishantha Disanayaka, Colonel Admin & Quarter and Colonel Ravi Pathiravithana , Colonel General Staff.
Comprehensive presentation was conducted to educate them on ‘Role and Responsibility' of Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi and Military Assistance in Post Conflicts Scenario’. During the question and answer session, they lively participated and finally Brigadier Channa Weerasuriya, Brigadier General Staff explained very important matters which are overcome during the humanitarian operation in 2009 and terminate the session.
During the refreshment Officer Cadets presented a memento to Brigadier Channa Weerasuriya, Brigadier General Staff, Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi to mark their excursion.
Thereafter, visited to the Hasalaka Gamini Kularathna Monument at Elephant Pass, and paid their tribute to the Warrior Hasalaka Gamini Kularathne.
