KILINOCHCHI COMMANDER, CHIEF GUEST FOR BADMINTON COACHES' TRAINING PROGRAMME INAUGURATION

With the intent of developing a preliminary layer of Badminton Coaches in all five Districts in Northern Province, Preliminary Badminton Coaches Training Programme- Northern Province organized in collaboration with the Northern Province Badminton Association on 06 & 07 April 2021 at the Sports Stadium Kilinochchi.

In respond to a invitation of Vice President - Sri Lanka Badminton Chairman, Coaching & Promotions Committee Mr Deepal Madurapperuma, Commander Security Force Kilinochchi Major General Harendra Ranasinghe graced the inauguration ceremony of Training Programme as the Chief Guest.

Moreover, there are 40 participants who are currently operating as District Coaches and PTIs in the area were participated. This programme was helped for the development of Provincial Badminton as a part of efforts to take Sri Lanka Badminton to the next higher level.

President, Northern Province Badminton Association, Rev. NJ Gnaponarajah; Hon Secretary, Mr. MJS Princely Lambert and other committee members; Commander 573 Brigade Brigadier Manoj Madurapperuma; Commander 571 Brigade Brigadier Dammika Welagedara and other Military officials were presented at the inauguration ceremony of this Programme.
