As a supportive measure of uplifting the educational standards of students of schools in Kilinochchi area, Commander Security Force Kilinochchi led a donation programme with the sponsorship provided by a family of philanthropists from Colombo on 03 January 2021 at Mahadeva Suwamical Children Home and Arivichcholei Children Home.
Mr Suren De Silva and his family members in response to a request made by the Commander Security Force Kilinochchi Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda and his spouse President of Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs Shamini Kotuwegoda contributed to the project, and 300 student received school accessories during the programme. Futher, Colonel General Staff SFHQ KLN Colonel Anil Smaweera, Colonel Sanjaya Wanasekara and Lieutenant Colonel Pradeep Vithanage provided fullest support to make the event success.
General Officer Commanding of 57 Infantry Division, Commander 571 Infantry Brigade, Senior Staff Officers of SFHQ KLN and Commanding Officer of 7 SLLI together with representative donors took part in the social service project with strictly adhering to the health regulations.
