Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi, Major General Harendra Ranasinghe made a special address for troops of 57 and 66 Infantry Division and its under command formation and 9 Field Engineers Regiment, 4 Military Intelligence corps and 4(v) Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps on 21 July 2021. This address was made to appreciate the effective services rendered by all ranks under the Security Force Kilinochchi, prior to exit from the command and redeploy under Security Force Mullaitivu.
During the address he emphasis that, all troops must keep and maintain high standard of security in the area and to minimize illegal activities and was mentioned the appreciation of higher authorities also. Moreover, he appreciate the great sacrifices made by all ranks including Division commanders, Brigade commanders to control the Covid 19 pandemic situation at a minimum level in Kilinochchi area.
General Officer Commanding 66 Infantry Division Major General Ajith Dissanayake, All Brigade Commanders and Battalion Commanders under 57 and 66 Infantry Divisions and other rankers also participated to the event by adhering to all Covid 19 preventive measures.
