The Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi, Major General Harendra Ranasinghe made field visit to 4 (V) Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps took place on 20 May 2021.
The Commander Security Force was welcomed by the Commanding officer of 4 (V) SLAWC Lieutenant Colonel Subash Silva and invited to plant a sapling at the Battalion premises. Afterward, the comprehensive briefings on role & tasks of Battalions were conducted by the CO 4 (V) SLAWC. Then Commander SF visited camp area. Soon after that he address limited selected troop with adhering the to all Covid-19 preventive measures. Further he stressed the need of improve their professional competencies through the constant training to develop the skills of performing multiple task of the soldiers to face the future security challenges of the nation and appreciate the commitment and dedication to uplift the image of the SL Army as Women Soldiers.
Brigadier Admin and Quartering Brigadier Deepal Hathurusinghe, and other Senior Staff Officers in Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi also participated in the visit.
