At the invitation of Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana, Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi, Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission (SLHRC) conducted an education programme on ‘Human Rights and Humanitarian Law’ for the Officers and Other Ranks serving in Kilinochchi.
The lectures were conducted by Mr. Rohita Priyadarshana and Mr Dhanushka Chamil of the Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission at Nelumpiyasa auditorium on 02 March 2018 from 0900 hrs to 1600 hrs.
15 Officers and 550 Other Ranks participated to the lecture session. This programme focused on enhancement of knowledge of Army personnel in the fields of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law.
