KILINOCHCHI TROOPS ENGAGED IN SHRAMADANA CAMPAIGNS

Troops of 651 and 652 Brigades of the 65 Division under Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi engaged in few social welfare projects in Kilinochchi area on 19 to 21 May 2018.

The 11 (V) Battalion of Gajaba Regiment of 651 Brigade organized a Shramadana campaign to beautify the School premises of the Mulankavil Kaleimagal Pre-School and in the meantime, troops of 20 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment of 652 Brigade conducted a Shramadana campaign to clean the Amathiyapuram Amman Kovil Buildings and its surroundings.

Both Shramadana campaigns were organized under the direction of Commander Security Force Kilinochchi, Major General Niyshshanka Ranawana and with the supervision of Major General Kumara Peiris, General Officer Commanding - 65 Division.
