LAYING FOUNDATION STONE FOR A NEW SCHOOL BUILDING IN KILINOCHCHI
Brigadier Anura Sudasinghe General Officer Commanding 57 Division together with the Celinco Life Insurance Limited laid the foundation stone for a new school building at the Kanagambigaikulam Tamil School in Kilinochchi and it would be constructed at a total investment of approx Rs.3.5 Lakhs.\r\n\r\nThis project is part of military, initiative to uplift and develop the Kilinochchi community at large, by focusing on fulfilling its immediate requirement in areas such as education, youth employment, health, community wellbeing and other. The financial assistance for this project to provide by Celinco Life Insurance Limited.\r\n\r\nA formal ceremony was organized by the 57 Division and 16 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment to lay the foundation stone of this new school building. The auspicious activities were presided by Brigadier Anura Sudasinghe General Officer Commanding - 57 Division, Lieutenant Colonel Mahinda Sarthchandra Commanding Officer - 16 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment, Mr. K Sumanthiran Regional Development Manager - Celinco Life Insurance Limited, Mr. Dayasilan – Manager and Mr. Kantharuban – Assistance Manager from Celinco Life Insurance Limited – Kilinochchi, Mrs S. Sundaralingham - Principal of Kanagambigaikulam Tamil School together with teachers and students.\r\n
