MEMBERS OF COUNTRY GUIDANCE TEAM (BRITISH HIGH COMMISSION) MEET COMMANDER SECURITY FROCES KILINOCHCHI
The members of country guidance team (British High Commission) was led by Second Secretary Migration and Immigration Liaison Manager of British High Commission in Sri Lanka, Mr. Edward Megarry visited the Security Forces – Kilinochchi and met Major General Amal Karunasekara, Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi on 15 July 2016.\r\n\r\nMajor General Amal Karunasekara who extended warm welcome the visiting delegates on arrival in Security Forces Headquarters – Kilinochchi and had a brief discussion related to the present situation and welfare projects are being conducted by the Army for Kilinochchi peoples. During the cordial meeting, both the parties discussed about the progress of the releasing civilians lands and the main challenges have to face when improving the economical standard of civilians.\r\n\r\nMoreover, Mr. Ralph Clarkson, Ms. Amanda Wood and Ms. Pauline Crichlow participated on discussion as members of delegation team\r\n
