The Security Forces - Kilinochchi conducted another goodwill gesture for the students in Kilinochchi. Twenty five Push bicycles were distributed among school children of low income families under the patronage of Lions Club of Negombo Orient, on 14 March 2018 at Harmony center (Kilinochchi). This event facilitated immensely to enhance the reconciliation and benevolence among the community. The 57 Division organized the programme under the guidance of Commander Security Forces - Kilinochchi.
Commander Security Force Kilinochchi Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana USP ndc graced the occasion as the Chief Guest together with past District Governor Lion Camilus Fernando, 1st Vice District Governor Lion Dewa Peter, District Deputy Cabinet Treasurer Lion Placidus Peter, Club President Lion Savithtri Peter and club Secretary Lion Victor Steeven.
The bicycles were distributed by Commander Security Force Kilinochchi, All GOCs and by Brigade Commanders among students.
At the conclusion all parents and students highly appreciated the efforts made by the Army and Lions Club Negombo Orient to the students of Kilinochchi.
