NEW ACCOMMODATION COMPLEX FOR AMPAKAMAM BATTALION TRAINING SCHOOL
According to the concept of Security Force Commander Kilinochchi newly constructed accommodation Complex of Bn Training School Ampakamam was declared opened by Maj Gen K A D A Karunasekara RSP VSV USP ndu psc Comd SF HQ (KLN) on 16 June 2016 accepting the invitation offered by Brig W A V A Sudasinghe USP ndc IG GOC 57 Division. \r\n\r\nThis accommodation complex was constructed under the supervision of Comd 574 Bde with the assistance of Bn in the 57 Div AOR. Further, it is intended to accommodate trainees of Custom Guard Training Program, which is scheduled to start on 20 June 2016. Total expenditure on this project was 2.4 million.\r\n\r\nMajor General Amal Karunasekara, Commander Security Forces – Kilinochchi graced the occasion as Chief Guest. General Officer Commander – 57 Division, Brigade Commanders, Senior Officers, Officers and Other ranks took part in the event. \r\n
