7th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry has constructed a new Basketball Court as a gift for players who intended to develop their skills on basketball and influence others. The Court was ceremonially declared open by the Maj Gen K A D A Karunasekara RSP VSV USP ndu psc, the Commander Security Forces KILINOCHCHI as the chief guest together with many senior officers including the General Officer Commanding - 57 Division on 18 October 2016.\r\n\r\nThe Basketball Court was designed and constructed by the efforts of troops, with under supervision of Lt Col M P S P Kulasekara RWP RSP, Commanding Officer - 7 SLLI.\r\n\r\nThe exhibition matches between the 7 SLLI and 9 VIR teams has marked the opening of this remarkable juncture. This newly constructed Court could be considered as a great opportunity and a privilege to the sportsmen and women who are interested to develop their proficiency in the field of basket ball.\r\n
