With the objective of facilitating the all Ranks serving at the Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi, the newly built self-operated laundry was declared open by the Commander Security Force Kilinochchi Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda, on 17 December 2020.
The event was marked, unveiling a plaque and cutting a ribbon by the Commander SF, to inaugurate the facility. Commander appreciated the commitment of 11 Engineer services Regiment troops who built this complex and all ranks of the SF HQ Kilinochchi for extending their fullest support to complete the project. This laundry equipped with fully automatic modern washing machines to benefit of soldiers.
Brigadier General Staff Brigadier Ajith Dissanayaka and Brigadier Admin and Quartering Brigadier Deepal Hathurusinghe, other Senior Staff Officers, all officers and other ranks of the Security Force Headquarters were present at the event with adhering to health regulations.
