NEW SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS KILINOCHCHI AUDITORIUM
As per the concept by Major General GVDUA Perera RWP RSP USP USAWC psc, the Security Force Commander Kilinochchi, the ruins of a building previously used by LTTE situated inside 9 SLSC premises Iranamadu was completely refurbished with almost entirely different architecture to convert into a beautiful auditorium. 11 CES and 15(V) CES jointly constructed the auditorium while total landscaping and beautification by 9 SLSC. An all nightPirith Chanting on 31 December 2013 and alms giving on 1 January 2014 was also held having completed all the arrangements prior to opening. The NELUM PIYASA SFHQ KLN auditorium was declared opened by the Secretary of Defence and Urban Development Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa on invitation by Major General GVDUA Perera RWP RSP USP USAWC psc,the Security Force Commander Kilinochchi in the presence of Lieutenant General RMD Ratnayake RWP RSP USP ndupsc, Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, Major General S Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndupsc, the incoming Security Force Commander Kilinochchi on 8 January 2014.
