NEWLY CONSTRUCTED SHRINE AND PARAPET AROUND BODHIYA WERE CEREMONIALLY OPENED AT SFHQ (KLN)
Newly constructed Shrine and Parapet around Bodhiya was declared opened after a religious ceremony at Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi premises by Major General K A D A Karunasekara RSP VSV USP ndu psc Commander - Security Forces (Kilinochchi) on 14 March 2016.\r\n\r\nIn similar to the “ Samdhi Buddha Prethima ”, the statue was placed at newly constructed shrine under the religious observation. On 02 January 2016 a branch of Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi was planted at the Headquarter and thereafter within a short period of time 11 ESR section serving under Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi completed the construction works of colourful shrine and Parapet around Bodhiya.\r\n\r\nIn this religious programme was arranged under the direction of Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi and opening ceremony were lined with a religious event like Perahera and Bodhi Pooja Pinkama.\r\n\r\nCommander- Security Forces Kilinochchi, Commander - Forward Maintenance Area (KLN) General Officer Commanding - 66 Division, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were attended this event. \r\n
