Under the guidance of Commander Security Force (Kilinochchi) Major General K A D A Karunasekara RSP VSV USP ndu psc, a basic guiding programme for newly recruited customs guards was held at Ampakamam Training School from 18 June 2016 to 26 July 2016. The guiding programme was observed and supervised by 57 Division. \r\n\r\nNewly recruited 87 customs guards and 10 lady custom guards were trained under above programme. During the programme Sri Lanka Army, Sri Lanka Police and Custom Officers conducted the lectures and practical sessions. \r\n\r\nThe passing out ceremony of newly recruited customs guards was held on 26 July 2016 and Director General of Customs Sri Lanka W A Chulananda Perera graced the occasion as chief guest.
