SECRETARY TO THE MINISTRY OF DEFENCE VISIT TO SECURITY FORCES HEADQUARTERS KILINOCHCHI
Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Eng. Karunasena Hettiarachchi and Commander of the Army Lieutenant General A W J C DE Silva RWP VSV USP ndu psc visited to Security Forces Headquaters Kilinochchi on 13 August 2016. \r\n\r\nMajor General K A D A Karunasekara RSP VSV USP ndu psc, Commander Security Forces – Kilinochchi was warmly welcomed the Secretary , Ministry of Defence at the Iranamadu helipad, Honour Guard and Drive Past were awarded to Secretary with military tradition.\r\n\r\nLater, Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi conducted a comprehensive briefing with related to the present situation of land issues in the area of responsibility.\r\n\r\nFinally, Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Eng. Karunasena Hettiarachchi left his memories by signing visitors\' book to mark his visit to Security Forces Headquaters - Kilinochchi.\r\n\r\nCommander of the Navy – Ravindra C. Wijegunaratne WV RWP & Bar RSP VSV USP ndc psn ,District Secretary of Kilinochchi – Mr. S. Arumainayagam, Additional Secretary to the Ministry of Defence - Parliamentary and Civil Affairs Mrs. Wasantha Perera and Divisional Secretaries and Senior officers from tri services were participated this visit.
