As a continuation of organizing community based and charitable programmings, Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi organized a blood donation campaign and other charitable events on 10 October 2018 to mark the 69th Anniversary of Sri Lanka Army, under the guidance of Commander Security Force Headquarters Major General Niyshshanka Ranawana.
A medical team comprising with doctors and other staff of Blood Bank in General Hospital Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa contributed their immense support to conduct this blood donation campaign and over 300 military personal form SF HQ (KLN) AOR donated blood in the event.
Subsequently, this headquarter arranged the lunch for children and disable elders at Karunaniliyam Elders and Children home at Kilinochchi and gifts were distributed among them while they are entertained by calypso music. The Security Force Commander Kilinochchi Major General Niyshshanka Ranawana and Senior Officers participated in the event with Other Officers and Other Ranks.
