SECURITY FORCES KILINOCHCHI CELEBRATES NEW YEAR FESTIVAL WITH SERIES OF EVENTS
On the concept of Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi arranged series of events to celebrate Sinhala and Hindu New Year Festival.\r\n\r\nThe tea party was arranged with the participation of Officers and other ranks of this Headquarters on 14 April 2016 with the presence of Security Force Commander to mark the New Year and enjoyed colourful musical show conducted at the same night. \r\n\r\nWith the intention of enhancing harmony of military and civil personnel New Year festival was organized on 16 April 2016 at this Headquarters. Many traditional games and fun making events were organized during the festival including visiting relations, raban play and pillows fighting, tug of war and cultural dance by \"Sath Ranga\" dancing team.\r\n\r\nWinners of New Year games were awarded with prizes of gift packs and given away to all members. The Security Force Commander, all GOCs, Bde Comds and Senior Officers, Officers, other ranks attended events. \r\n
